On the first Sunday of October, October 6th, for the tenth consecutive year, the patriotic trail and themed obstacle race “Lāčplēšu kross” organized by the association “Adventure Racing Union” will take place in Mežaparks, attracting around a thousand participants. The competition offers various distance options depending on the age and abilities of the participants, including the Knight distance of approximately 14.1 km, the Lāčplēšu distance of approximately 4.7 km, and the Laimdotas distance of approximately 0.3-0.9 km. Among the participants will be both leading national runners and active lifestyle enthusiasts, as well as families.
